  Lab Diamond is an optically enhanced diamond simulant.  Through a unique patented process, our special cut Cubic Zirconia is optically enhanced with an optical color layer.  DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is then applyed to the surface of the gemstone.  View the Laboratory Report Here.  Lab Diamond is a custom cut cubic zirconia ZrO₂ core that is cut and hand polished so it has the best optical refraction. The optical layer and diamond like carbon coating gives the CZ a refraction index near diamond, and a surface hardness greater than uncoated Cubic Zirconia.
