Yes. Our core is Diamalite CZ. We have the finest CZ material available cut to our specifications. We then have the surface coated for maximum optical light dispertion.

- Is Diamalite like all the other simulants?
Yes, No, Maybe. We do not know the process of other companys coating procedures. Our procedures may differ from others. Its not likley that everyone has the same procedures for coating. Procedures start with cutting, polishing, inspection, thin film optical coating before the DLC, and the actual process of DLC.
The one thing that is alike is the core. CZ is the best core to use that is closest to Diamond.

- Is the surface treatment permanate?
Yes, to a certain degree. Under normal everyday wear, it will last for years.

- Will Diamalite test positive on a Diamond tester?
NO. No diamond simulant will test positive on a diamond tester. Only natural diamond, lab grown diamond, and moissanite will test positive.

- Will Diamalite chip, crack, scratch, or break?
YES. And so will a natural Diamond. Natural Diamond is harder to chip, crack, scratch, and break. Diamalite only has a surface of diamond like carbon, so it is harder to scratch than an uncoated cz.

- Will Diamalite haze over, or discolor?
NO. Unlike plain Cubic Zirconia, Diamalite has a diamond like coating on the surface of the Cubic Zirconia. This prevents any hazing, and discolorazation.

Yes, you can trade in your older version stone for a new and improved version of Diamalite. There is a nominal fee to cover costs. Email us direct for more information on this type of transaction.
